"Assos Olive-oil" is produced from the olives
of the Behramkale region at the western part of the Asian
continent, which leans on Bering Bosporus at one side and
where the Anatolia embraces with the Aegean Sea. Behramkale
was called Assos in the archaic era . Assos was called Assa
during Hittetite period before the archaic era. This is the
place that witnessed both the creation of the human history
and from which arose the olive-oil. Aristotales, who is one
of the founders of philosophy, has established his famous
philosophy school "Akademia" in this region in 4th
century B.C. According to the doctrine of Aristotales, each
object has a substance and a shape; substance is the existence
in the state of power; after this existence takes a shape,
it turns into an active creature. So, a tree is an object,
olive is the substance of the object in the state of power;
if turns in to olive-oil after taking a shape, olive-oil is
the active creature. You should participate in this activity

In the production of Assos first quality olives especially
for olive-oil production from Ayvacık, Gürpınar, Assos regions
are used.
